Music Ministry
“Music should have beauty, pathos, and power. Let the voices be lifted in songs of praise and devotion… Call to your aid, if practicable, instrumental music, and let the glorious harmony ascend to God, an acceptable offering.”- Testimonies, vol. 4 p 71.
The Ziwani SDA Church Music Ministry Department is committed to fulfill the following through the use of Sacred Music:
- Give glory to God and enhance the worship experience at all times.
- Create a heavenly and Spirit filled atmosphere.
- Create a spiritual and emotional balance.
- To make preparation of the spoken word.
- To meet the needs of the diverse congregation.
Therefore the our Music Ministry Department will continue to:
Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power….praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp…praise him with stringed instruments and organs…Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.”- Psalms 150
The Music Ministry Department consists of:
Church Choir, Youth and Children’s Choir, Ambassadors, Pathfinders and other singing groups and other vocalists and musicians dedicated to utilize their talents for the glory and honor of God.
